The main objective of an Artistic-Pedagogical Residency is to develop a project that integrates art and teaching, functioning as an immersion, a "residence in a project". In this context, the residency is configured as a space for the intensification of practices, experimentation and reflections: doing, acting and feeling. Where participants share in a continuous process of investigation and research in painting.
When proposing an artistic-pedagogical residency project, it is essential that you read the following information carefully and organize your project following the available model plan. Submitted projects must present a clear methodology; it is necessary to describe objectively what will be done, how it will be executed, under what conditions and with what materials. The objectives must be detailed precisely, allowing the committee to evaluate the proposal clearly and understand its suitability for the available space.

Clovis Vergara Residence by A. Martins Costa
The permanent University Extension Program "Apotheke Painting Studio" presents, through an annual call for Artistic and Pedagogical Residency, Professor Dr. Clóvis Martins Costa (UFPel). The actions with the participation of the artist-professor were developed in the Study Group Apotheke Painting Studio, in the disciplines "Pictorial Representations" and "Pictorial Process" (DAV/UDESC), technical visits to studios of artists from the region, conversations and debates with the objective of developing pictorial practice and teaching in painting, based on the Arquipélagos project, proposed by Professor Dr. Clovis.

Neyde A. Joppert Cabral Residence
In 2022, the Apotheke Painting Studio created the ARTISTIC RESIDENCES project. Thus, the artist Neyde Joppert was in Florianópolis from September 14 to 23, an event that allowed her to immerse herself in the UDESC studio producing a series of oil portraits, produced an action with the same theme with undergraduate students, participated in conversations with artists and walks with artistic practices involving the watercolor technique.

Michaela Affonso Ferreira Nardone
In 2022, Apotheke Painting Studio created the ARTISTIC RESIDENCES project. Thus, the artist Michaela Nardone in Florianópolis from August 29th to September 2nd, when she held conversations with artists, visits to museums, walks with artistic practices, workshops with undergraduate students, production of paintings and various activities that comprise her artistic process.

On the occasion of the II Meeting of the Studio 1336 (UFSM) together with the painter professor Alphonsus Benetti, the Apotheke Painting Studio (UDESC), also organized in partnership with GPicto and LabCor (UFSM), the first pictorial graphic immersion as an artistic residency in the Vale Vêneto region in the Quarta Colônia Italiana, near Santa Maria. CLAUDIA OF THE RIVER
The Apotheke Painting Studio created the ARTIST RESIDENCES project, with guest artists. And our first guest was the artist professor Claudia Del Río from the University of Rosario in Argentina. Claudia was in Florianópolis from March 9 to 20, 2017, and held workshops, talks with artists, open classes, studio visits, walks as an artistic practice, drawing production and several activities that comprise the professor's artistic process.

In the first half of 2017, the Apotheke Painting Studio created a space for Artistic Residency, with or without guidance for artists, teachers and researchers, with an interest in Visual Arts. The artists occupied the space of the DAV (UDESC) painting studio, having access to studies of techniques used in the Apotheke painting studio with guidance and support for the projects.

OPEN STUDIO
With the aim of "opening" the university's studio space for socializing and showing part of the production and reflection, the Open Studio action expands the concept of a simple exhibition of processes. The works presented, curated by Professor Dr. Jociele Lampert, were produced by students of the introduction to pictorial language course, from the first phase of the Visual Arts course - UDESC 2015, and members of the Apotheke Painting Studio group. The Studio is seen as a space for exchange, questions and possibilities in dialogue with the academic community and the general public.

ARTISTIC REDIDENCE:
Artist Inside the School
The arist's studio in expanded fields, drifting over the school space.
The Artistic Residency Project "Artist inside the
School", idealized by Professor Dr. Jociele Lampert
(PPGAV/UDESC) is a partnership between Apotheke
Painting Studio/UDESC, PIBID/VISUAL ARTS (UDESC) and
the project EnREDados 2015,linked to InSEA (International
Society for Education Through Art).
In essence, the project aims to think the artist's studio in expanded fields, drifting over the space of the Primary School.
Reside in an Art project means diving into a landscape, with time/place/space, pointing to the creative process based on the context. This way, this project was based in convocations specific to members of Apotheke Painting Studio, students of the postgraduate education in Visual Arts program of UDESC,as well as, graduate students of PIBID/Visual Arts scholarship from UDESC and guests.
The Residency Projects wander around the pictory axis, as investigation in the school context, it is then about thinking of aproproation and sharing of/in the school context itself.
The Residency happened in the last week of the month of october, between days 26 and 30, in the School Of Primary Education Lauro Muller, Marechal Guilherme Streeet, 134, Center, Florianópolis/SC.
