The Apotheke Painting Studio Extension Program proposes to develop actions such as the Apotheke at School Project, with the formation of Study Groups for Teachers , based on and inspired by “Art as Experience”, by John Dewey .
Our goal is to focus on pedagogical practice in conjunction with the experimental artistic practice of children in the school context, based on Dewey. We therefore propose studies and reflections on his texts and those of other artists, teachers and researchers that involve subjects such as: Art and creative processes in the context of childhood; childhood and the studio in the school environment; teaching and artistic practices in school.
In this landscape, The Apotheke at School is linked to the field of Visual Arts and Art Education, in line with the thinking-making of Art with Children and at School, from the perspective that
these investigations can enhance creative experiences for new teaching practices-theories in the context of Contemporary Education in the area of Visual Arts.
If you are a teacher, come study with us!
Join our Study Group and develop work projects based on the context of Visual Arts.
Idealization: Prof. Dr. Jociele Lampert (UDESC)
General Coordination: Prof. Dr. Angélica D'Avila Tasquetto (UFSC)

We understand that it is a group of people who meet regularly to collectively reflect, discuss and delve deeper into matters of common interest, in an autonomous and cooperative manner.

1. Be a teacher in the Basic Education Network in Brazil, preferably working in Early Childhood Education or Elementary School - Initial Years.
2. Correctly fill in all the information requested on the registration form.
3. Be available to participate in all synchronous virtual meetings (these will be held via the Zoom or similar virtual platform), as well as carry out the biweekly asynchronous activity proposals (organized on Google Drive and interspersed with virtual meetings).
4. Write a LETTER OF INTENT justifying your interest in participating in the study group, especially with regard to the relevance of this training for your teaching practice at school.
